TULAD ng ibang housemates ng Pinoy Big Brother, gustong mag-artista ni Chx Alcala at kung mabibigyan ng pagkakataon, gumanap ng character roles ang pangarap niya.

Pang-showbiz si Chx dahil articulate ito at dahil baguhan, hindi uso sa kanya ang salitang off the record at hindi pa siya marunong mag-deny. Inamin ni Chx na nude pictures niya ang kumakalat sa Internet at mga cellphone. Posibleng kumalat daw ang mga sexy photo nang maiwan niya sa taxi ang kanyang cellphone.

Ayon kay Chx, bilib siya sa nakapulot sa cellphone niya dahil nabuksan nito ang coded folder ng kanyang telepono na kinalalagyan ng nude photos. Ikatuwa kaya ni Chx ang balita na marami ang humihingi at naghahanap ng kanyang mga litrato?

Hindi pa sanay si Chx na humarap sa entertainment press kaya napaiyak siya sa sunud-sunod na tanong ng mga reporter tungkol sa kanyang personal na buhay. At dahil honest, sinagot niya ang lahat ng mga nakaririnding tanong sa kanya.

Aware siya na marami ang galit sa kanya dahil sa pagiging liberated niya pero "she can’t please everybody".

Intrigues never seem to cease whether you are inside or outside the Big Brother House. And after her much talked about nomination sa Bahay ni Kuya, Chx Alcala is in hot water again as she states there is magic between her and fellow housemate Sam. A day after her eviction, however, she rushes back into the arms of former boyfriend, Love Thadani. Expecting to be the next evictee, Chx prepared herself and even her fellow housemates the whole week, spending much time with each, especially with Fil-Am, Sam.

After her tearful yet controversial exit, Chx was surprised to find her ex-boyfriend Love waiting for her outside the house. In their 7 years of being a couple, Love and Chx had a cool off before she entered the Pinoy Big Brother house. “We had no commitment with each other when Pinoy Big Brother started. Though we still go out and act as we used to nung kami pa.” Love confessed on showbiz talk show The Buzz. Love even says he was never jealous of other men before but he wanted to hit Sam when she kissed him good-bye. Chx on the other hand didn’t know Love was there present every nomination night to support her. And the long talk they had with each other after Chx’ eviction revealed that they still had feelings for each other and that they can work things out this time. “Mahabang usapan. Pumasok ako na alam ko andiyan siya pero hindi na lagi siyang andun. I know I did crazy things sa loob but I said sorry na. Di ko rin maalis na maghinanakit sa kanya doon. There’s no perfect relationship naman.”

Love has accepted everything that has happened inside the Big Brother house and says they are now starting on a clean slate. When asked if marriage is in the offing, Love says he’s willing to give Chx time and try her luck in showbizness. Chx was also open about discussing her feelings with the boys connected to her sa Bahay ni Kuya. “Close lang talaga kami ni Rico. We had a lot of things in common like yung family background and love life. He’s very sweet. He was my partner in crime lagi. And si Sam he’s really attractive. And super talented. Crush ko siya.”

As for the nude photos circulating around the internet, Chx admitted during her presscon this afternoon, that she is the one in the pictures. However, she doesn't know how the pictures got out. Love also adds that Chx has lost her cellphone before where she kept some sexy pictures of herself. “I’ve had sexy photos on my cellphone before," she said.

Chx is a doing a Rico?

Remember Rico? He was nominated by Big Brother and eventually his name was the first who got called for eviction.

Chx has been playing a clean slate recently. Her name never appeared in the previous nominations until Sam voted a previous untouchable Say together with Chx. Still, Chx is not considered a threat by Sam because she got only a point from Sam while Say gets 2 from the former.

My prediction for this Saturday's eviction night is quite clear. Cass has Davao, Jason has Batangas, Sam has the female votes, Franzen has the jologs majority and Chx has none at all.

She's been disliked due to flirting with Rico and the viewing public abhorred her actions when she jumped off to Sam's arms and tongue-tied with the guy on the first few hours of the game. Will her katulong stint save her? Or is it her last act under the spotlight?

Is Chx worth a vote?

What's the f*ck*ng problem with the House (Big Brother)

Half the 100 days is over and we should be expecting almost half of the housemates out the house...NOT.

What's in the mind of Big Brother? There will be 8 more housemates after this Saturday's eviction night.

November 5th will be another eviction night (74th day) 7 housemates left
November 12 another nomination night (81st day)
November 19 eviction night (88th day) 6 housemates left
November 26 nomination night(?) (95th day)

I hope that after November 19, there would be more twists like a midweek eviction or anything resulting a fater eviction of housemates. It could be a survivor type of game where endurance and wit would be needed to outlast each one of the housemates.

Franzen was earlier nominated by Big Brother for his numerous violations of house rules and for his “disrespectful behavior” when dealing with Kuya.

2nd Nominee
Chx on the other hand completed the list of nominees after a thorough deliberation by the Pinoy Big Brother management and due consultation with Endemol, original creators of Big Brother, for her violation of a major Big Brother rule which states that: Housemates cannot ask the new Housemate any questions about the outside world, and the new Housemate cannot report any news about the outside world.

Chx repeatedly asked several questions about the outside world to ‘comebacking’ housemate Jenny. In his announcement of Chx’s nomination, Big Brother emphasized to Chx that by asking numerous questions about the outside world she has also put Jenny in a compromising position who could have also earned either a nomination or outright eviction had she answered any of Chx’s inquiries.

As a result of "The Big Switch" Jenny will be continuing her stint for the remaining days in The Big Brother house. She got 42% of the tallied text votes. Rico came in second with 25% while JB and Racquel ranked third and last receiving 21% and 12% of the total votes.

She left the house on September 17 to be with her ailing father, who was fighting for his life at the time because of a serious ailment.

She received P100,000 from Pinoy Big Brother as charity help from the program for the unexpected demise of her dad.

Orange and Lemons cleared issues on alleged similarity in melody of its current hit "Pinoy Ako" to "Chandelier," an original song of the ‘80s band The Care.
"As a musician who can transcribe music note for note and having an idea about technicalities, I can confidently say they are two different songs," Orange and Lemons’ vocalist and guitarist Clem Castro told Manila Bulletin via text message when asked for clarification.
Star Records’ Jamie Hipe admitted that the band may have been influenced by The Care but after studying both songs they resolved that each has its own identity. "We studied the two songs and concluded that they are two different songs. Orange and Lemons may have been influenced by The Care but no, they did not copy The Care’s song. Yes, they wrote the melody and used ‘Chandelier’ as their peg," stated Jamie of Star Records.
This negative observation began circulating last month inside the band music circle but it’s only now that the band has made a comment on it.
"Pinoy Ako" was a collaboration between the band Orange and Lemons and songwriter-record producer Jonathan Manalo who told the Bulletin that he only penned the lyrics of the song and entrusted the rest to the band.
"I can’t comment as of the moment because the melody and arrangements are all from Orange and Lemons. Though I produced the record, there hasn’t been any discussion between me and Orange and Lemons about a certain song called ‘Chandelier.’ I’ve given them 100 percent creative freedom to interpret and arrange my song," Jonathan disclosed.
The songwriter added, "After they (members of Orange and Lemons) finished the song, I had the assurance that it was from an original material."
Orange and Lemon’s Clem may have been irked by Bulletin’s inquiry prompting him to give the following message: "Do you actually think/believe that the melody lines are similar? You know Star Records will not declare it as they did without consultation and deliberation, which believe me, they already did."
Orange & Lemons is composed of Clem Castro (guitars and vocals), Mcoy Fundales (guitars and vocals), Ace Del Mundo (drums), and JM Del Mundo (bass).

Who are eligible to come back in the house?

Let us review what are the qualifications of a "new" Housemate.

POINT I

This clause states that the replacement HM can be an evicted HM

A new Housemate may be called in to replace any person who leaves voluntarily or who has been disqualified by Big Brother. This replacement can be a former Housemate who had previously been evicted. If and when this happens, the following rules apply:

POINT II

In reference to POINT I, the highlighted item is quite conflicting leaving POINT II ambiguous and full loopholes. The act of leaving the house is by way of being evicted through nomination, quitting and disqualification. Once any of these are done by the housemate or by the power of Big Bro, they are deemed NOT to return in his house.

Leaving the House

Housemates leave the House in one of three ways:

• They are nominated
  
• They decide to quit the House of their own free will
  
• Big Brother disqualifies them and asks them to leave

Once a Housemate leaves, there is absolutely NO returning to the House.

POINT III:

These words appear in the Big Brother rules uder the Forced Exit ruling:

Such action will be considered as a voluntary exit, not an eviction.

Which declares that a voluntary exit is different from being evicted.

POINT IV:

The Accident & Illness clause doesn't mention any 24 hour ruling. Bob's unexpected eviction should not have taken place given that the show's producer has placed competitive medic crew verifying immediately the HM's state. Should a competitive medic crew has been placed, Bob should be still in the House.

This merely states that the local producer has the right to create its own rules or not showing the complete rules given by Endemol. The "BIG SWITCH" is not even mentioned in the rules. It should be Big Brother's decision to choose not the viewing public.

Accident & Illness

In case of an accident, Housemates may use the first-aid kit located in the living room. Housemates may also go to the Confession Room to report if additional medical help is needed.

If a doctor, nurse or dentist is needed for minor treatments, they will enter the House and treat the patient in the Confession Room. If a Housemate needs hospital treatment, Big Brother will judge whether the Housemate may return to the House. If a hospital visit is necessary, a member of the production team will accompany the Housemate to ensure there is minimal contact with the outside world.

A psychologist will also be available for counseling, either on request of the Housemate or if Big Brother feels it is necessary. Counseling sessions will not be filmed nor will Big Brother listen in to the conversation. Although the psychologist will maintain client confidentiality, s/he will let Big Brother know if the Housemates have any pressing issues or vulnerabilities that need to be addressed. Support will also be provided for Housemates once they leave the House.

Big Brother’s Big Switch

Starting tonight until Saturday (October 15), viewers can text their votes for ex-housemate that they want to serve as Bob's replacement. The choices include Rico, Jenny, JB and Racquel. This is in accordance to the Big Brother House Rules, which states that “A new housemate may be called in to replace any person who leaves voluntarily or who has been disqualified by Big Brother. This replacement can be a former housemate who had previously been evicted.”

To vote for Rico, text BB RICO to 2331 (Globe and Sun Cellular) or 231 (Smart, Talk N’ Text & Addict Mobile). To vote for Jenny text BB JENNY to 2331 or 231. To vote for JB, text BB JB to 2331 or 231 and to vote for Racquel text BB RACQUEL to 2331 or 231. Be sure to add a space between the keyword BB and the name of the ex-housemate. Each text costs P2.50 for Globe and Smart, Talk N’ Text and Addict Mobile, while Sun Cellular subscribers will be charged P2.00.

PLDT landline subscribers also have the option to vote for their favorite ex-housemate via the the Big Brother Hotline. They can call 1908-BROTHER (1908-2768437) to vote. Callers will be charged P2.50 per minute anytime and anywhere in the Philippines.

The ex-housemate that will have the most number of votes will become Bob’s replacement and get another chance to go back to Big Brother’s house.

The finaly tally of this Big Brother Switch text votes will be announced on the live 4th Nomination Night of Pinoy Big Brother, this coming Saturday 9:30PM on ABS-CBN.

Evicted Housemate back in the Big Brother house for 100 seconds

JB Magsaysay, was given permission by Big Brother (a rumored relative of JB) to visit his PBB-girlfriend Say for a time-limit of 100 seconds last Friday night.

This could be a violation of a house rule violated by Big Brother himself allowing an evicted housemate go back inside one of the Big Brother's house' premises.
